About WisePocket

WisePocket is a free South African money tools site. We build simple calculators and plain-language guides for the everyday money questions people ask: what will I take home, what will fuel cost this month, how much car or house can I afford, and how do I make my money last until payday.

What we believe

• Free and no sign-up. Every tool works without an account.
• Your figures stay with you. What you type into our calculators stays in your own browser. We don’t see it.
• Local and up to date. We use this year’s SARS tables, the current prime rate and this month’s fuel prices, and show when each was last updated.
• Plain language. No jargon, no fine print.

How we make money

WisePocket is paid for by advertising and by clearly labelled sponsored links, for example to compare car finance quotes. Sponsors never change the results of a calculator.
